This
drawing has been inspired by the Touch, a hanging from the Five Senses, carried
out by Jules Diéterle. This piece was one of the thirteen made for the Main
Room of the Elysée Palace, and commissioned by Napoléon IIIrd and his wife Empress
Eugénie to Jules Badin, head of the Goblins and Beauvais' manufactures. Paris,
