This tapestry is inspired from William Morris. This motif, with a very dense vegetation back-ground, has practically no perspective effects. Indeed, this English artist used a limited range of colours, dominated by reds, blues and bright greens. Here, three completely different animals are represented: the lion (the wildest one), the fox (the most cunning) and the rabbit (the most agile).
