Woven in the XIX th century in Aubusson, this tapestry is inspired by the Oriental style which was in fashion at that time. The luminous colors emphasize the tropical setting whereas the warmth of the reds and greens suggest Oriental shades. The original is kept at the Louvres Museum, in Paris.
